Granted, people do percieve it's cold, but the water has been WARM every summer since The Pool was rebuilt.
Even across the last two cool & wet summers the water remained well above 20C.

It's NOT COLD. It's always warmer than Bondi surf in summer.
This is an unexpected consequence of the new smaller half-Olympic lap pool - which replaced the former, much bigger full Olympic – it’s shorter by half & shallower.
